aboutus
Twist of Fate Ranch is a family run farm located in beautiful Sonoma County, CA. What started with two goats quickly became a passion and a business, and expanded into a herd of almost 100. We strive to breed our animals for exceptional genetics and proper confirmation.

As a performance herd, we participate in yearly Linear Appraisal, DHIA milk testing and show in any goat shows that we can get to. As a family of 7, we all have our jobs on our farm and it's our passion to help others to learn about all of the benefits of owning goats. When you buy a goat from us we support you forever, every step of the way!

SPOTLIGHT: 2025 Herd Top Performers

2025 NEW ADDITIONS!

GCH Winning Streak CM Marco Polo
A buck was the only goat I had considered adding to my herd this year. I really wanted something that worked well with the pedigrees I was already using in my herd, but that would give me a little more depth, then I saw this guy and knew he was the one!

Not only is he a finished champion, but both is dam and his sire are as well! I really loved the udders I was getting from his paternal brother, I just wanted a little more length, and from what I can see, he is going to be the buck to do it!
Hilltown Meadows Ride Or Die
I was NOT looking for a buck when I purchased Rider. I actually already had a daughter of his. I was admiring her one day while milking. I was thinking back over the show season and how many times this petite perfectly correct, with a beautiful little mammary had won her class this year. I decided I should consider getting some straws. Then I found out he was available, and well that ended that! Rider not only sired Wolfivan Hideway Cha (see above), but he was also the sire to Wolfivan Chicory Root, 5th Place 2025 ADGA National Yearling Milker VVVV 88, and Wolfivan Tahitian Princess. Co-Owned with Hylakes Dairy Goats
Wolfivan Soul Rebel VEEV 87 (FF)
All I did was inquire about a reservation I swear! But...when you are offered a Wolfivan One Love daughter, you get a Wolfivan One Love daughter! I think that's enough said about this beautiful girl!

Ok, one more thing, Rebel's daughter from this year, Wolfivan Baby Goat Sauce, was also the 5th place Jr Kid at the 2025 ADGA National Show!
Crews Creek RNR Enchanted
I swear, these last two were not my fault! But I mean look at them! I was trying to contain myself because I did not need to buy more goats this year! But, the more I looked, the more I just knew. I had to have them. BOTH of them.

From her breeder: "Enchanted's dam is absolutely my favorite stand out FF in our herd this year, placing 6th at Nationals in the yearling milker class, and this kid really just follows in her dams footsteps in so many ways, being angular but with such appropriate width and substance throughout from width of chest to width between the hocks she’s a solid kid, complete with body capacity and depth."

Tell me how you pass this up!
Crews Creek FA Anamone
Anamone was actually the first of these last two to catch my eye. I forced myself to scroll the first time, the second time was so easy!

From the breeder: "Anamone's dam just needs one last leg to finish, and has been a stand out in our herd. Her dam is never leaving our herd and confirmed bred with Quads for a fall kidding and I’m going to take a proably stupid gamble and offer this kid to another herd The rear view on this kid always catches my eye, with a wide, round, high euscutcheon, and so much width between the hocks. She’s naturally very uphill and level on the move with ample angulation."

They are going to be just perfect :)
